ArroGen are pleased to announce our new service

ArroGen Veterinary Forensics represents ArroGen’s collaboration with the University of Surrey.

ArroGen Veterinary Forensics represents ArroGen’s collaboration with the University of Surrey. This unique partnership brings together experts in animal diagnostics and research with specialists who have worked within the forensic sphere of the UK Criminal Justice System for many years.

By harnessing our collective knowledge of forensic and animal science we are able to offer a wide range of forensic pathology and science services to agencies that deal with, or investigate, crimes against or involving animals across the UK and beyond.

Our main aim is to help investigators increase the success rate in the prosecution of individuals who commit crimes against animals, but a significant component of our collaboration is to develop a strong social justice agenda and deliver results which disrupt crime patterns and the evolution of animal to human criminal behaviour.

The forensic centre is located in Oxfordshire, where we work with the ArroGen Forensics team and our pathology centre is based at the state of the art Veterinary Pathology Centre at the University of Surrey. This is where we are building our research, teaching and CPD portfolio which will contribute to the empirical understanding of animal forensics.

By combining our strengths in forensic pathology and science and building on our existing infrastructure and established track record as human medico-legal practitioners, ArroGen Veterinary Forensics offers a novel animal forensics service.

The team of experts is led by Alexander Stoll BSc VetPath (Hons) BVetMed MVetMed DipFMS MRSB MRSPH FRCPath MRCVS and Jo Millington BSc (Hons) MSc PGCert MIABPA MCSFS. Alex has experience in developing and providing veterinary forensic pathology services and a passion for teaching and public engagement. Jo Millington is an experienced forensic practitioner having worked as an operational scientist in major and critical incident investigation for over 20 years. Jo and Alex work with a team of highly skilled professionals who collectively are able to offer a wide range of forensic and veterinary expertise.

We are always looking to collaborate with people who share the same vision and we always give free and considered advice!
We are looking forward to working with you.
